As we continue to professionalize and develop thoughtfully by introducing new tools, processes and products we are looking for a people-centric leader who can guide our Travel Design team with clarity, care and foresight.
This role is about leading, structuring and enabling others to consistently deliver exceptional work.
The Role
As Head of Travel Design & Experience, you lead and develop our Travel Design team and shape how outstanding travel experiences are created at Cosa – today and in the future. You are a motivating leader, a structured thinker and a curious builder, comfortable working with evolving processes, new tools and an empowering leadership style. You create the conditions in which creativity can flourish within clear, thoughtful structures.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of experienced Travel Designers
- Foster a positive, learning-oriented and collaborative team culture
- Provide clarity on roles, expectations and ways of working
- Act as a role model through your attitude, curiosity and leadership presence
Client Experience & Quality
- Work closely with high-profile clients to understand their unique preferences and travel aspirations, ensuring their experiences exceed expectations
- Ensure consistently high quality across all client touchpoints
- Use feedback and data thoughtfully to continuously refine the client experience
Collaboration & Vision
- Work closely with the Founder family and leadership team to translate vision into execution with clarity and momentum
- Encourage ideas, experimentation and continuous learning within the team
Process & Ways of Working
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for refinement
- Design and implement structured, scalable processes that support both quality and creativity
- Balance flexibility with consistency in a fast-evolving environment
Technology, Tools & Product Development
- Bring solid foundational technical interest to support effective leadership in:
- Tool selection and testing
- Product and process development
- Implementation of new systems and workflows
- Actively contribute to the evolution of Cosa’s internal platforms, tools and tech-enabled processes
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to turn ideas into practical, elegant solutions

- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Experience introducing new processes, tools or operating models
- Ability to bring structure without over-engineering
Technology & Curiosity
- Solid foundational technical interest and digital affinity
- Willingness to engage with new tools, systems and products
- Not required to be a technical expert – but curious, hands-on and pragmatic
Travel & Global Perspective
- Experience of at least 7-10 years of professional experience, ideally in travel, hospitality, services or experience-driven environments
- A genuine interest in travel and the world is essential
- Destination know-how is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
- Global Distribution System knowhow preferred
German and English language skills required
